Legacy Invest was founded by father and son Bert and Taylor Miller. They strive to provide their clients with exceptional customer service and help Investors build a Legacy that can be passed on for generations to come. Bert started in real estate investing in 1989 and has done over five thousand deals in that time. He is a renowned speaker, investor, and influential presence in the real estate investment marketplace with over 30+ years of experience. Taylor has been working in real estate, construction, and property management since the age of 16. He has been involved in the sales and acquisitions of over 800 homes in the last 5 years and looks forward to building and continuing the legacy that Bert started 30+ years ago.

Our Story

Our story began with father and son Bert and Taylor Miller. Bert has been investing in real estate since 1989 and has an impressive portfolio of over 5,000 deals. His 30+ years of experience make him a highly sought-after speaker and investor in the real estate investment marketplace.

Taylor has been involved in real estate, construction, and property management since he was 16 years old. In the past five years, he has been involved in the sales and acquisitions of over 800 homes. Together, they founded Legacy Invest with the mission of helping investors achieve their financial goals through high-quality investment properties, continuing the legacy that Bert started 30+ years ago.

TAYLOR MILLER

Taylor Miller is the managing broker and one of the owners of Legacy Invest. He graduated from the University of Memphis with a bachelor’s degree in Technology Management and holds a managing broker’s license in real estate. Legacy Invest was established to continue the legacy that his father, Bert Miller, started over 30 years ago while helping their clients establish their own legacy with updated cash-flowing rental properties. They specialize in finding, renovating, and stabilizing properties that will provide good investments for their clients for generations. Taylor is married with two kids, ages two and four. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and working on hobbies and projects that interest him.

BERT MILLER

Bert is an extremely experienced real estate investor and owner of Legacy Invest who has bought and sold over 5,000 investment properties in his career. He owns over 400 properties in three cities, Memphis, TN; Tampa, FL; and St. Louis, MO. He currently manages over 600 properties with his team. With 40 years in the real estate industry, Bert has done it all — from international speaking engagements to running a real estate fund. In his spare time, Bert enjoys fishing, spending time with family and friends.

MELODY LEMMON

Memphis Property Manager/Office Manager

Melody has 20 years of experience in property management and has worked hard to keep our properties running smoothly. As property manager, she is responsible for receiving and applying tenant payments, running tenant statements, keeping collection records, and helping with tenant maintenance and repairs. Additionally, she works with owners to collect information for our management software, update property information, and provide owners with access to their account portals. In addition to her role as property manager, Melody is also the office manager, making sure everything runs smoothly in the office. Outside of her career, Melody is very active in her church and the community. When she gets the chance, she loves spending time with her family, eating Mexican food, or reading a great book.
